My dad keeps preaching that there is importance in even the smallest of details. That so many times small budget productions forget to spend time on the little things and it hurts production value. We have worked day and night to ensure that everything that appears on camera has a purpose and flows with the scene. For example, our movie is set during the fall, more specifically Halloween. When we shoot interior shots, it is vital the decor represents the time of year. If there are flowers, we have to make sure they are seasonal. We have to be mindful of how the sky looks for the part of the day we are representing. There are so many details but I am confident that our film will not only have the big things covered ie: sound, acting, cinematography, and special effect but also the smaller important details of set and costume design.
Starting tomorrow. I am going to try and blog each day to let everyone know where we are with production and what we are working on that day. We will be announcing the remainder of our cast throughout the month of May as well as debut the mask our killer will be wearing. May is going to be a very busy month for Carver and we can't wait to share it with all of you. So bookmark my blog and check back every day.
